SIU Radiology faculty awards for 2024

Congratulations to our SIU Radiology faculty who won awards for their outstanding commitment to higher education. The following faculty were nominated by our residents for their leadership, engagement, and commitment to education and training:

Teacher of the Year: Daniel Stanton, MD. This award recognizes the faculty for outstanding teaching contributions and the commitment to higher education.

Academic Excellence: Simon Bekker, MD and Brittany Varney, MD. This award is given to the faculty who demonstrates the ability to perform, achieve, and/or excel in scholastic activities and their commitment to resident education.
