Primary Responsibilities
My primary responsibility for the Department of Population Science and Policy is to assist in research and community engagement aimed at improving health outcomes in central and southern Illinois.
About
I received my bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from Eastern Illinois University and I recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) with my Master’s in Public Health degree in May of 2019. While attending UIS, I served as an intern at the Illinois Department of Public Health in the Environmental Health Division through the Graduate Public Service Intern program. I am excited to spend the summer as an IPHA AmeriCorps member in the Department of Population Science and Policy and to have a chance to further develop the skills that I will need to engage and educate communities about their health and well-being.
