    About me

    Primary Responsibilities:

    At the Department of Population Science and Policy my primary responsibility is in research support for the numerous community based projects aimed at increasing health equity and outcomes among our rural based populations.

    About:

    I graduated with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of New Haven, located in West Haven, Connecticut. I spent several years working in hospital nutrition with hospital in-patients with varied nutritional needs. In 2017, I joined the Peace Corps. Following two-years of service with Peace Corps Albania that focused on sexual and reproductive health education, I was awarded a graduate school Coverdell Fellowship with Western Illinois University. At WIU I earned a MA in Community and Economic Development and a MS in Health Science, Public Health with a focus on rural development.
