Why they chose SIU
My goal during match was to make sure I ended up at a place that would provide me with phenomenal EM trainaing, and SIU EM provides just that. When I compiled a list of things that were important to me – Level I Trauma (2), academic resources of the University, high patient volume, great simulation & ultrasound curriculum, and all the city resources needed for my family – SIU checked all the boxes.
