About me
Saumuel A. Grampsas, MD, serves as co-director of the Pelvic Wellness Center. He is an associate professor in the Division of Urology at SIU Medicine. He specializes in female urology and provides his patients with comprehensive evaluation and treatment of simple and complex urologic conditions. This includes urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, UTIs, pelvic pain, urinary dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse and problems affecting female sexual health. He offers the latest therapies including Botox injections, neurostimulation, urodynamics, biofeedback and pelvic organ prolapse reconstruction. Dr. Grampsas and the Pelvic Wellness Center is designated as a Center of Excellence for the InterStimTM system by Medtronic. InterStimTM is a neuromodulation therapy that treats symptoms of urinary incontinence.
Dr. Grampsas earned his medical degree and completed a Urology residency at the University of Colorado Medical School in Denver, Colorado. He is a fellow of The American College of Surgeons and is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Grampsas sees patients in the SIU Pelvic Wellness Center.
