    About me

    Primary Responsibilities:

    As an Instructor at PSP, I help provide population science curriculum to SIU SOM students, residents and attendings.  In addition, I serve on the social innovation team as the Department collaborates with health care providers in central and southern Illinois to improve the health of the population we serve.

    About:

    I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (1993) and a master’s degree in Human Developmental Counseling (1997) from the University of Illinois Springfield. Before joining SIU, I spent several years working as a counselor in Christian County for Even Start, a federal grant program assisting at-risk families and children work toward better health, education goals, and economic stability.
