Basic Science Lab

Mission

To support education and research at SIU School of Medicine/Department of Surgery/Institute for Plastic Surgery in a meaningful way that drives learners to contribute to advancing science as learners become experts.

The research laboratories in the Institute for Plastic Surgery are dedicated to providing research support including grant acquisition, project execution, and data synthesis for publication/presentation.

We also provide microsurgical education to medical students and residents of SIU School of Medicine.
