Your first few days at SIU School of Medicine can be both exciting and overwhelming. You will be introduced to the people, processes, procedures and systems you will interact with, as well as the space and organizational structure in which you will function.
First WeekOrientation does not end after your first week. During your first few weeks of employment you should expect more in-depth introductions to your position, department, policies and guidelines.
First Few WeeksAs you reach your 3 and 6 month milestones, you should begin to feel like you are becoming an integrated team member of the School of Medicine.
First 3-6 MonthsYou have successfully completed your first year of employment at SIU School of Medicine! Congratulations! By now, you should feel fully integrated into your department.
