SIU research recognized at the European Congress on Endometriosis

Dr. Ricardo Loret de Mola and Dr. Kanako Hayashi were honored with the award for the best poster at the 4 th European Congress on Endometriosis in Vienna, Austria. Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI) financial conflict of interest training

Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (Springfield) relies on the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI) to fulfill Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) Training required for all personnel involved in federally funded research. Successful completion of Financial Conflict of Interest training is required before research personnel can engage in research activities. Once successfully completed, the training is good for four years. Automated renewal notices will alert you to when you must renew your training. New employees must register and complete the CITI FCOI

External funding submission policy

All applications for external funding, letters of intent including budget information, and subcontracts/consortia submitted from SIU School of Medicine must be reviewed and approved before submission through the Associate Dean for Research Office. To allow sufficient time for application review and approval. Please send an initial notification of intent to apply for any mechanism and the funding agency guidelines as far in advance as possible, at the very least, 2 weeks before the submission deadline.
