November is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, helping bring awareness to the progressive brain disease that affects memory, language and thought. Dr. Erin Hascup, director of the Dale and Deborah Smith Center for Alzheimer's Research and Treatment at SIU Medicine, sat down with WTAX's Joey McLaughlin to discuss the disease and how the Smith Alzheimer's Center can offer care and guidance to those with memory loss and their caregivers.
