Kenniebrew events on February 8-9 to encourage health equity
Each February, SIU hosts a series of events to honor Dr. Alonzo Kenniebrew, the first Black physician in the United States to build and operate a private surgical hospital. This year, one of the gatherings is being renamed to honor the late Dr. Wesley Robinson-McNeese.
Simmons Cancer Institute accepting research internship applications
Applications for the 2024 summer lab internships at Simmons Cancer Institute at SIU School of Medicine are being accepted through February 26.
