Women's Health Center Rural Health Designation Changes

SIU Medicine’s Women’s Health Center at 610 North Westgate, Jacksonville, IL 62650 will no longer be designated as a Rural Health Clinic in the Medicare program (Title XVIII of the Social Security Act) effective March 1, 2021. The Rural Health agreement between the SIU Women’s Health Center and the Secretary of Health and Human Services was terminated on March 1, 2021 in accordance with the provisions of the Social Security Act. The SIU Women’s Health Center will continue to serve Medicare patients after March 1, 2021 under the directives of the Medicare Program (Title XVIII of the Social Security Act).
