Caspary Lab Celebrating 40 Years of NIH Funding

Congratulations to Professor Don Caspary, PhD, one of SIU's renowned auditory research scientists. August 1, 2019, marked the 40th anniversary of the National Institute of Health's grant award for 'DC00151' in support of his lab's initial hearing studies in 1979. SIU Medicine first in U.S. to pilot new trauma care course
SIU School of Medicine will host the first use of the newest edition of the Advanced Trauma Life Support course in the United States on April 29–30. The Southern Illinois Trauma Center (SITC) at Springfield Memorial Hospital and the Memorial Learning Center are piloting the training.
