He completed his fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and University of Texas at Houston, Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield Illinois.
Dr. Gebremedhin is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
