Join us for a walk! The Smith Alzheimer's Center will have a team at the Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter's Walk to End Alzheimer's on Oct. 1 at Southwind Park. You can register and join our team through the link above, and help show your support by joining us to raise awareness about Alzheimer's and related disorders. As of June 2023, walk-ins for acupuncture are now available at the new Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness, located at the Centrum building at 319 E Madison St. in Springfield. Corry Meyer, LAC, is offering ear acupuncture walk-ins on Mondays from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. and Tuesdays from 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. The cost is only $5, and anyone is welcome. You do not need to be a patient of Family Medicine or the Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness to utilize these walk-in appointments.
