The Department of Surgery will host the 11th Annual Resident Research Day on Thursday, April 18, 2024, in the Memorial Learning Center Auditorium. This year’s visiting professor is Vibhor Krishna, MD, Associate Professor of Functional Neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Krishna has a special interest in translational neuroimaging research. The Institute for Plastic Surgery at SIU School of Medicine is pleased to announce the 27th Annual Wound Care Symposium on March 17, 2022. This year’s event will be held in-person at the IEA Professional Development Center located at 3440 Liberty Drive, Springfield, Illinois from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Wound Care Symposium is offered as an educational opportunity for healthcare providers in the area, especially nursing professionals.
