On April 25 and 26, 3rd and 5th graders from Harvard Park Elementary School visited SIU and spent a wonderful “Harvard Park Day @ SIU”. They learned about oral health, brain functions, bone connection, and finger splint in 4 breakout sessions. At the Pharmacology Department, students gained introductory knowledge about the function of each parts of the brain, and the development of the teen brain through a PowerPoint presentation. Tom Ala, MD, was serving as the interim director and will become CADRD's medical director. Dr. Hascup has been with SIU School of Medicine since 2012, initially as a research associate within CADRD. January 16, 2017 — More than 100 Enos Park neighborhood residents had better access to health care, dental care, mental health care and other quality-of-life services, thanks to the Access to Care Collaborative, which celebrated its first year in October 2016.
