Graduating classes ‘77, '82, '87, '92, '97, '02, '07, & '12 will be celebrating June 24-25, 2022 in Springfield! A casual and fun Friday night family-friendly reception is planned as well as Saturday events that include a campus tour and class picnics. The Brain Aging Conference - Community Day is open to the public, providing the latest information on research, treatment, care and quality of life for persons with dementia and their care partners. Hosted at the Memorial Learning Center, attendees will have a chance to hear from medical professionals from the Smith Alzheimer's Center, other institutions, experienced caregivers, as well as a chance to connect with area organizations offering helpful resources. The Brain Aging Conference - Professionals Day provides health care professionals an opportunity to earn continuing education credits and learn about trends and research related to caring for those with Alzheimer’s and related disorders. From an overview about Alzheimer's, managing agitation and behavior changes, updates on research opportunities, and more, this conference is designed to help you provide better treatment and care for persons with memory loss and their caregivers. This conference is approved for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 credits.
