Walk-ins welcome at acupuncture clinic

As of June 2023, walk-ins for acupuncture are now available at the new Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness, located at the Centrum building at 319 E Madison St. in Springfield. Corry Meyer, LAC, is offering ear acupuncture walk-ins on Mondays from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. and Tuesdays from 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. The cost is only $5, and anyone is welcome. You do not need to be a patient of Family Medicine or the Center for Healthy Aging and Wellness to utilize these walk-in appointments. Intentional community outreach first step in addressing issue Despite having an increased prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, Black women often face barriers to health care, leading to delayed diagnosis and access to treatment.
