Physiology Reproductive Biology Research

The Division of Molecular and Integrative Physiology includes basic research in the area of reproductive biology and focuses on the entire reproductive axis. Physiology faculty investigate fundamental issues of male and female fertility at the molecular and cellular levels and using whole animal approaches. Research interests include development of the brain, pituitary gland, genitalia, gonads, placenta and reproductive tract. The Division of Molecular and Integrative Physiology includes basic research in developmental biology ranging from the early uterine mechanisms necessary for implantation and growth of the embryo to the complex molecular programming of cells in the development of organ systems.
