J. Ricardo Loret de Mola, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Outstanding District Service Award by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

ACOG will recognize Dr. Loret de Mola during its 2025 Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting, May 16-18 in Minneapolis. The award honors his dedicated service and leadership within ACOG’s District VI and his contributions to advancing women’s health care through clinical excellence, research and mentorship.

I share this award with my colleagues, mentors and the dedicated team at SIU Medicine, who inspire me every day.”
