Ledbetter honored for community impact

Courtney Ledbetter, PA-C, DMSc, assistant professor in the Physician Assistant Program, is the recipient of the Illinois Academy of Physician Associates 2025 Community Impact Award.

The honor goes to a physician assistant who significantly assists underserved or at-risk populations through volunteerism or community engagement.

Her nominator said, “[Courtney] creates a safe and welcoming environment for the community she serves, and her impact will multiply exponentially through her work as an educator, a parent and a volunteer.”
