Community Conversation: Journey Through the Health Care System

The Smith Alzheimer's Center at SIU Medicine is partnering with Tina Montgomery and local organizations to dive deeper into critical topics regarding Alzheimer's and dementia, which disproportionately affect African-American communities. COVID-19 VACCINES ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS. To help support vaccination in our community, the SIU Center for Family Medicine and General Internal Medicine departments are working together to provide COVID-19 vaccine clinics for the following individuals: CHILDREN, 6 MONTHS – 4 YEARS OLD We will offer the Pfizer series, this is a three dose series. When you schedule the first dose, we will also schedule the rest of the doses. Due to a nationwide internet outage, this event is rescheduled for Tuesday, December 12, 2021, 7:00 - 8:30 pm. We apologize for the inconvenience. Denim & Diamonds is the annual gala fundraiser to benefit local cancer research and patient programs at Simmons Cancer Institute. The community comes together to support and celebrate, wearing their fanciest formal attire, denim, or a creative combination of the two. Tickets are $125 per person or $1,250 for a table of 10.
