Description
This position is responsible for a broad range of activities essential to assisting the FQHC's Finance Unit. The incumbent will perform professional level accounting work, which includes applying knowledge and the practice of recording, classifying, examining, and processing of fiscal related materials. Responsibilities include those of a specialized nature, involving a variety of accounts, contracts and budgets for SIU Center for Family Medicine, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
Qualifications
CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER
- Any one or any combination of the following, totaling three (3) years (36 months), from the categories below:
- Work experience and/or training in Accounting or a closely related field;
- College course work and/or training in Accounting or a closely related field including 12 semester hours in accounting;
- 30 semester hours equal one (1) year (12 months),
- Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months),
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months).
- A total of two (2) years (24 months) of experience in professional level accounting work consistent with the next lower level of this series.
Note: An advanced degree in accountancy or registration as a Certified Public Accountant may be substituted for one year of professional experience.
Dentist
Springfield - Family Medicine
Description
This position will provide dental care services to patients of the Center for Family Medicine's FQHC's programs. In addition, the incumbent will work closely with the Chief Dental Officer to coordinate training experiences for dental students and other learners.

LCSW/LCPC
Lincoln - Family Medicine
Description
This position will serve as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at the SIU Center for Family Medicine. This position will engage patients at the medical visit, determine the extent of their needs for therapy and/or community assistance and/or referral to psychiatry. The position will also engage patients of the Medication Assisted Recovery clinic to assess and determine the extent of their needs.

Licensed Practical Nurse II LPN
Decatur - Family Medicine
Description
The position performs nursing care procedures under the direct supervision of an RN or medical provider. The primary responsibility of the position is to ensure that safety, quality, and efficiency in health care delivery is provided to patients under the direction of an RN or medical provider. The position will foster a team approach by working collaboratively with the patient, family, provider, and other members of the health care team to ensure coordination of services. They will actively participate in provider and staff team projects in order to enhance patient care coordination and satisfaction.
NEW - $7,500 sign-on bonus with 2-year employment commitment.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation.
Preferred Qualifications
Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation; AND
6 months of nursing experience in a health care facility (such as a hospital, nursing home, medical clinic, prison, mental health facility, or closely related facilities)
Clinic Nurse (RN)

Description
This position is responsible for providing professional nursing services to patients at the Center for Family Medicine, an outpatient teaching facility. The incumbent will assist faculty and resident physicians and mid-level staff in enhancing patient care through face-to-face contact in the clinic and/or via the telephone or on-line for triaging and medical advice. The individual in this position must be able to act independently considering the daily workload and emergencies of the day as they evolve. In addition to direct patient care, a significant portion of the duties of this position will be involved in assisting the Charge Nurse with her duties, making sure all areas are staffed appropriately and filling in where there are vacancies. In the absence of the Charge Nurse, this position will also be responsible for organizing the daily priorities and assignments for the nursing/CMA and laboratory staff.
