Welcome to the SIU Medicine Flow Cytometry Facility. We provide acquisition, analysis, and sorting of cells, as well as training and expert consultation for project/experiment planning. We serve SIUM faculty as well as outside customers. The facility has 2 analyzers, 1 sorter, and a multiplex analyzer. Meet two of our recent alumni Dr. Allen Ghareeb As a medical student, Dr. Ghareeb was actively involved in leadership and service, serving on the Year 2 Curriculum Committee, Community Health Policy Committee and Springfield Collaborative for Active Child Health. He was the volunteer coordinator for his class and a founding member of the Global Health Interest Group. After graduation, he completed his OB-GYN residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
