•    Assistance with gathering needs assessment data 
•    Assist course directors in developing course objectives
•    ACCME credit designation 
•    Design and summarizing conference evaluations
•    Retain course and attendance files for a minimum of seven years 
•    Ensure that each course meets the ACCME Criteria and Standards
•    Manage commercial support and other external course revenue

Conference Planning Assistance

•    Serve as course registrar
•    Identifying date conflicts with SIU School of Medicine
•    Assistance with developing the course budget
•    Completing ancillary credit applications (when applicable)
•    Assistance with securing meeting location
•    Monitoring registrations and recommending strategies for increasing enrollment
•    Provide weekly registration updates
•    Printing name tags
•    Oversee commercial support and exhibitor solicitations and management
•    Correspondence with faculty regarding disclosure forms, audio-visual needs, and other course details
•    Day of, on-site support
•    Providing pre-conference announcements list for course director (i.e., credit hours, commercial supporters, evaluation reminders, parking, telephones, restrooms)
•    Participation in post-activity meeting of course director, planning committee, and staff
