If you require data from TouchWorks for research-related efforts, SIU Information Technology can obtain this for you. To submit a request, please log into Laserfiche and complete the IT: Report Request form. You will need to specify Research as the SIU Mission. Once the TouchWorks list is created, it will be forwarded to CCR Statistics and Informatics Division. They will assure the required approvals are in place (IRB, data use, etc) for the project before distributing to the research team. E. Shannon Stauffer, MD Spring Lectureship

Overview Dr. E. Shannon Stauffer was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1931. He attended Temple University Medical School, graduating in 1959. He did his orthopedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh and a fellowship in orthopedic rehabilitation at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey, California. Dr. Stauffer practiced in Los Angeles until 1975, at which time he came to Springfield to become the Founding Chairman of the Division of Orthopedics as well as the Residency Program Director. Overview Mimi Cameo Covert grew up in southern California, near Rancho Los Amigo Hospital. She received a degree in physical therapy in 1978 from the University of California – Santa Barbara. She continued her education with the two-year Masters in physical therapy program at USC. During this time, she did research in Dr. Jacqueline Perry’s gait lab at Rancho. In order to provide more comprehensive care for amputee patients, she then entered a two-year prosthetic training program at UCLA. Residency Match Results List for SIU School of Medicine March 20, 2020, SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS – Senior medical students in the graduating Class of 2020 at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine received results from the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) on Friday, March 20, at the same time other U.S. medical students learned their matches to postgraduate training programs.
