Alumni and Faculty Gather at the 121st AAO Annual Meeting

Members of the otolaryngology division gathered with alumni during a private reception at the 121 st AAO Annual Meeting, which was held in Chicago. The Annual Meeting and OTO Experience is for practicing otolaryngologists-head and neck surgeons and associates, research and senior academic professors and chairs. Dr. Bauer and members of the division took the opportunity to connect with numerous SIU surgery alumni.

Student Rotations Welcome to SIUEM! We are excited to present several student rotations to SIU medical students, SIU PA students, and visiting medical students. We have dedicated teaching faculty and residents in our two busy emergency departments. Students have given many positive comments on the diversity of patient presentations as well as the opportunity to see undifferentiated patients, care for critically ill and injured patients, perform supervised procedures and the high degree of supervised autonomy.
