The Neurosurgery Department at SIU Medicine is dedicated to advancing the field through investigator-initiated research, where faculty members design and lead studies aimed at exploring new techniques, treatments, and interventions in neurosurgery. This research is critical to driving innovation and improving patient outcomes, allowing our physicians to address key challenges in neurosurgical care. Anatomy Certificate Program

The Anatomy Certificate is a graduate (post-baccalaureate) certificate program that provides students an opportunity to become proficient in anatomy teaching and will allow them to compete more effectively for jobs. Students must be currently enrolled in the MBBS program or another anatomically-based graduate degree program at SIUC (e.g. Biological Sciences, Anthropology or Zoology). However, others will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Prerequisites such as embryology and basic vertebrate anatomy are preferred, but other courses may qualify.
