Skin Cancer Screening

Simmons Cancer Institute at SIU Medicine and our community partners, Regional Cancer Partnership, Memorial Health and Springfield Clinic are hosting a free event for our community. Participants should not be under the care of a dermatologist and is 18 or older. Registrations is required. Please call 217.545.3837 to register for this event.

Skin cancer screenings in Decatur on Aug. 26

SIU Dermatology and Memorial Cancer Care in Decatur are partnering to offer a free community skin cancer screening in August. The screenings will be held 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 26, at Memorial Cancer Care, 210 W. McKinley Ave., Decatur. The SIU Medicine dermatology team will conduct open screenings for residents of Macon, Sangamon, Shelby, Piatt, Christian, Moultrie, DeWitt and Logan counties. Preregistration and a short consent form are required to participate. Participants should not currently be under the care of a dermatologist. To preregister, call 217-876-4749.
