Research Seed Grants (RSGs)

The goal of the Research Seed Grant Program is to assist faculty in generating preliminary data that can be used to support applications for extramural funding. Research Seed Grants (RSG) are evaluated for scientific merit by the Grant Review Committee (GRC).

Fall Cycle Deadline: September 15

Pre-Review applications

Clinical or unestablished grant writers may submit proposals for pre-review. Contact the ADR Office (grants@siumed.edu) immediately if interested for pre-review.

Pre-review

Spring Cycle Pre-Review Deadline: April 1
Fall Cycle Pre-Review Deadline: August 15

If the above dates fall on the weekend or a holiday, applications will be due the next business day.
