The structure of the Year 3 neurology clerkship consists of two weeks of inpatient service experiences and outpatient clinic rotations. The specialty areas in neurology include Alzheimer’s Disease, Epilepsy, Neuroimmunology, Neuromuscular Medicine, Neuropathology, Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders, and Vascular Neurology, (Stroke). GOAL: The goal of the four-week Family and Community Medicine (FCM) clerkship is to introduce students to the Patient-Centered Medical Home through the breadth and scope of family medicine, including the psychosocial and procedural aspects, particularly as they apply to ambulatory care.
