Visiting student learning opportunities (VSLO) SIU School of Medicine is a Host and Home school utilizing the AAMC Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) . Guidelines for visiting medical students SIU School of Medicine welcomes Senior students from other institutions accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to participate in the fourth-year elective study. Residency and Travel Relocation Loans are private loans designed to assist students with the expenses associated with interviewing and the relocation process. Some students may be selected to verify information provided on the FAFSA. If selected for verification, a Verification Worksheet must be completed and returned to our office, along with non returnable, signed copies of the applicable federal tax returns and W-2 forms for the student and, if appropriate, his/her spouse.
