Class of 2024 Welcomed to Carbondale Campus

Seventy-four medical students from the Class of 2024 have begun their academic medical training at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. The students are starting four years of intensive education to become physicians. Clearer Views for Better Hearing

DoD Grant Funds New Microscope to Aid Hearing Research Auditory researchers at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine have acquired a new microscope to enhance work in laboratories studying tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and hearing loss caused by toxins, noise exposure or aging.
