Since 1974, SIU Diagnostic Radiology has been ACGME-accredited. Upon completion of their training, our diagnostic radiologists are prepared to enter a fellowship, private practice, or academics. Residents spend their first year in Internal Medicine, including two months in Diagnostic Radiology rotations. The second through fifth years are spent in radiology.
