SIU Anna Jonesboro School Health Center

SIU Family Medicine Residency Program for Springfield went to recruit medical students at this year’s Student National Medical Associations Annual Medical Education Conference (SNMA). SIU Center for Family Medicine Receives Federal Certification

Expanding program serves nearly 30,000 patients SIU Center for Family Medicine, a Federally Qualified Health Center, has received citation-free certification from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration (HHS). As a result, the Center received a $2 million HRSA grant to cover some of the program’s operating costs. The grant is the third phase of a three-year funding cycle. SIU Center for Family Medicine stands by TriCare members through contract negotiations

We are honored that so many members of the military have chosen SIU Medicine as their provider of choice. We are also aware that many of our military families are covered by TriCare insurance. Unfortunately, TriCare made the decision to end its contract with our Federally Qualified Health Center, including the SIU Center for Family Medicine and Division of General Internal Medicine, earlier this year. SIU Center for Family Medicine-Decatur Earns Federal Recognition

Decatur-area patients will have access to more health care services, thanks to a federal grant that allows the Southern Illinois University Center for Family Medicine-Decatur to become a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) under the scope of service of the Center for Family Medicine in Springfield. The US Department of Health and Human Services grant was effective July 1, 2017. SIU Center for Family Medicine-Quincy Earns National Recognition

The Southern Illinois University Family and Community Medicine program in Quincy has achieved recognition as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality.
