Full-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Vascular Surgery
Description
The Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is a member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with vascular disease. Utilizing advanced knowledge and clinical expertise, the Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant acts as a clinician, coordinator, consultant, educator, leader and researcher.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Nurse Practitioner:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program; AND
- Received passing score on national certifying exam; AND
- Ability to be licensed in the State of Illinois as a Nurse Practitioner; AND
- Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.
Physician Assistant-Certified
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; AND
- Received a passing score on the national certifying exam; AND
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Illinois (or eligibility for licensure); AND
- Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.

Full-Time Assistant/Associate Professor - Plastic Surgery
Description
This person will function as a member of the Department of Surgery in the Institute for Plastic Surgery with his/her major duties and responsibilities at the office on the Decatur Memorial Hospital campus. The incumbent may provide educational and/or administrative services to hospital programs as requested.
Qualifications
- Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations
- MD licensure
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Able to be licensed in the State of Illinois
- Successful completion of Plastic Surgery residency
- Competence in teaching, interest in research and clinical competence in congenital, hand, trauma and microsurgery
