Cardiology

Welcome

Welcome to the Department of Cardiology at SIU Medicine. Our providers and researchers lead the way in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of heart issues. We help patients at risk of developing or living with conditions like heart failure, heart disease, high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke. As leaders in heart care, our cardiologists have access to a range of advanced diagnostic tests and innovative treatments, including minimally invasive techniques to repair and replace damaged valves inside the heart. We’re working hard to serve our community and prepare the heart doctors of the future to carry on our legacy of excellence in cardiac care.
