Welcome to the Division of Rheumatology at SIU Medicine .Our team of experienced, board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologists diagnose and treat rheumatic diseases and autoimmune conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, osteoporosis, myositis, ankylosing spondylitis, scleroderma, Sjogren’s syndrome, vasculitis and lupus. The division also trains residents and fellows who choose to advance their education within the field of rheumatology. By preparing our doctors-in-training for their careers as well as by advancing research within the field, the Division of Rheumatology helps to position SIU Medicine as a leader in rheumatology care.
