Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (Springfield) relies on the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI) to fulfill Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) Training required for all personnel involved in federally funded research. Successful completion of Financial Conflict of Interest training is required before research personnel can engage in research activities. Completing this curriculum is required before research personnel can engage in research activities that are overseen by SCRIHS. Also offered is Good Clinical Practice (GCP) curriculum. GCP training is not required by SCRIHS; however, study sponsors and funding agencies do require it. The CITI GCP training is accepted by most sponsors and funding agencies.
