This is a fluid operating schedule that allows fellows to see any and all cases that would be beneficial for learning and technical practice. Student Rotations Welcome to SIUEM! We are excited to present several student rotations to SIU medical students, SIU PA students, and visiting medical students. We have dedicated teaching faculty and residents in our two busy emergency departments. The Clinical Skills Laboratory is a dedicated instructional room with dozens of interactive models and simulators for training and self-study. The director of the laboratory is a nurse educator who works with course directors and other nurse educators to provide course-specific clinical skills development activities. Students can also make appointments with the director to schedule sessions to develop, maintain, or remediate clinical skills.
