Licenses are deactivated at the end of each month, and a new sign up period begins. At SIU TeleHealth and Video Services (SIU TVS) we offer many opportunities for healthcare providers and medical professionals to participate in medical education programs without having to travel. We are dedicated to resident education. We have a phenomenal faculty who both offer on the job education and participate in lectures during our core lecture series. We have a variety of departmental conferences attended by residents and faculty to discuss current cases and recent pediatric literature. We look closely at clinical experiences to ensure our residents get a broad picture of the entire field of pediatrics, with all its subspecialties. Educational tracks

Considering an educational track? Some residents decide during residency that their future practice may emphasize certain aspects of Family Medicine more than others. For example, a resident might sign a contract in the second year of residency that includes providing OB care, nursing home directorship, or sports team coverage, whereas another might not. Other times, residents simply desire more in depth exposure to certain areas of Family Medicine than is supplied through the traditional curriculum.
