PURPOSE OF THE ELECTIVE PROGRAM - The purpose of the Elective Program is to provide students with a diverse range of experiences through which they can appropriately explore their various medical interests, strengthen areas of identified weakness in knowledge, clinical skills, and/or clinical reasoning, and broaden their preparation for postgraduate training and practice.
