Foundation

Welcome

Welcome to the SIU Foundation in Springfield. We work with private donors, schools, foundations and businesses to achieve SIU Medicine’s strategic goal of supporting students, patients, families and staff.

We solicit and accept gifts, manage and invest funds, and prudently distribute funds for educational, research and charitable purposes. Through research grants, scholarships and other opportunities for people in need, we create services that promote maximal impact on both an organization and individual level.

The SIU Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization as designated by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Ask us about our tax-deductible receipts for private gifts and donations.
