Prior to beginning training as a new resident or fellow at SIU School of Medicine there are several requirements that must be completed. Each of the items below are a condition of employment and are stated in each contract. The Traditional Track MEDPREP Program is a two-year course of study designed to provide maximum focus on academic skill development and foundational knowledge in the sciences. This is our most popular program of study, for students preparing for medical or dental school (students interested in dentistry: please also visit our pre-dental page ).
