Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Program

The mission of the Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) is to optimize the treatment of infections (providing the right antimicrobial therapy, dose, route, frequency, and duration) to patients that results in the best outcome with the least amount of toxicity and resistance, and to optimize provider communication and collaboration surrounding antimicrobial use.
