Elective Text & Assigned Reading

Your text for the Breastfeeding Elective will be the 3rd edition Lactation Management Self-Study Modules authored by Wellstart International. This text is available for download from the webpage as well as from your instructor. Please do not mark any print copy provided to you.  

You will be assigned readings from the text throughout the elective. The Modules will be supported by the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM)Breastfeeding Protocols and other external media. These are located online at www.bfmed.org. Select the protocols link on the left side of the main page.
